Swedish wealth manager Söderberg & Partners has expanded its presence in the UK by acquiring stakes in three Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) firms: Hoyl Independent Advisers Ltd, Intelligent I-FA Ltd, and Mosaac Ltd. These acquisitions are part of Söderberg’s long-term strategy to support innovative advisory businesses and strengthen its position in the UK financial services market.

The three advisory firms collectively manage over £3.5bn in Assets Under Management (AUM). Hoyl Independent Advisers Ltd, located in Cromer, Norfolk, with additional offices in Chelmsford, Derby, and London, manages over £3bn and is well-known for its client-centric approach. Managing Director Mick Ramage noted the potential benefits of the partnership, which could enhance operations and allow them to reach more clients.

Intelligent I-FA Ltd, a Midlands-based firm managing £300m, is excited about growth opportunities through Söderberg’s innovative use of technology to improve the delivery of financial advice. Meanwhile, Mosaac Ltd, based in Yorkshire and managing £230m in AUM, provides tailored financial advice on investments, pensions, and mortgages. Director Daryl Clark described the partnership as an "incredible opportunity" to enhance their services while maintaining the personal touch that distinguishes their firm.

This latest move builds on Söderberg’s earlier October acquisitions, which added £920m in AUM from firms such as George Square, Cheltenham IFA, Bluezone Capital, and Alexander Bates Campbell. These investments demonstrate Söderberg's commitment to expanding its presence in the UK market by partnering with firms that exemplify professionalism and foster client trust.

CEO Gustaf Rentzhog commented, “Investing in British financial services businesses is the foundation of our expansion strategy. These firms represent professionalism and have strong growth potential, and we are thrilled to support their ambitions.”

Söderberg & Partners’ ongoing investment in the UK reflects a broader consolidation trend in the wealth management sector. By partnering with firms that combine strong client relationships with innovative approaches, Söderberg is addressing the growing advice gap and continuing to position itself as a key player in the market. This strategy highlights the importance of scale, technology integration, and long-term client trust in today’s financial advice landscape.
