Perspective Financial Group concluded 2024 by achieving a significant milestone: completing five acquisitions in December, bringing its total number of deals for the year to 29. Since its inception in 2008, Perspective has executed 107 acquisitions, further solidifying its position as a leader in financial services consolidation. These latest acquisitions contribute £375m in assets under advice, 1,100 client households, and three new Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, and Cheshire office locations.
The acquired firms include Hallidays Wealth Management in Stockport, Foinaven Asset Management in Ashbourne, Tony Fenton & Sons in Caistor, PW Financial Management in Cheadle, and a client book from an adviser within Perspective (Home Counties) Ltd. Emphasizing the cultural alignment central to Perspective’s acquisition strategy, Ian Wilkinson, CEO of Perspective, stated, “We are delighted to have finished 2024 so strongly, and that these high-quality, client-centric firms have chosen to become part of Perspective. We welcome several new colleagues to our expanding group and three new offices to further develop our national footprint.”
The focus on aligning values has resonated with those joining the group. Karl Fenton, a financial planner at Tony Fenton & Sons, remarked, “Perspective was the first company we met while exploring a sale, and from day one, it always felt like the right fit. This was largely due to the shared values regarding client treatment and processes. The journey to completion was challenging, as expected, but it was made much easier by the dedicated and supportive staff throughout the company.”
Similarly, Simon Roberts of Foinaven Asset Management, now part of Perspective, shared, “After many years of providing high-level service to our clients, I wanted this to continue indefinitely in a more secure environment for all involved. Perspective operates in the same way as we do, and I look forward to continuing to serve our clients with the professionalism they deserve.”
These December acquisitions follow an active November, during which Perspective added nine firms, including Springfield Financial Services and Keith Mason Wealth Management. Through these deals, the group is expanding its presence nationwide and strengthening its reputation for exceptional client care. Perspective's approach presents a strong strategic growth model for firms looking to consolidate while ensuring client and staff continuity.
