Titan Wealth has announced the acquisition of Norwich-based Finance Shop and its sister firm, FS Wealth Management, which marks another significant step in its strategy for consolidation in the UK. This deal increases Titan's total assets under management to £37bn and adds 14 advisers, along with a bespoke discretionary portfolio management unit operating on the Raymond James platform.
Founded in 1990, Finance Shop advises on £750m in assets and maintains close ties with FS Wealth Management, which manages an additional £340m. This acquisition follows Titan's purchase of Loveday & Partners in 2024, further strengthening its presence in East Anglia.
Andrew Fearon, joint Group CEO and Head of M&A at Titan Wealth, emphasised the region's strategic importance, stating, “East Anglia is of great significance to us. This transaction deepens our footprint in the region and aligns with our long-term ambitions.”
Since its launch in 2021, Titan has completed more than 20 acquisitions and is targeting £100bn in AUM over the next five years. While the group's aggressive acquisition strategy has resulted in a growing debt profile reaching £207m in 2023, its private equity backing continues to support scaling and diversification across the UK's advisory landscape.
As regulatory scrutiny increases and succession planning accelerates within the sector, Titan's ongoing deal-making sets the pace among mid-sized consolidators aiming for national scale. With Finance Shop and FS Wealth Management now part of its operations, Titan has reinforced its model of integrating high-quality regional firms while ensuring client continuity and maintaining discretionary investment capabilities.
