Finli Group Acquires JSP Financial Services, advised by Chapters Capital

Chapters Capital is pleased to have advised John and Susan Perry on the sale of JSP Financial Services to Finli Group, bringing 144 client households and £57m in assets under advice to the Milton Keynes-based financial planning firm.
The transactions
Finli Group has completed the acquisition of JSP Financial Services, an independent financial planning firm based in Sheldon, Birmingham. John Perry, JSP’s founder will retire from the business following completion.
The deal was one of six completed by Finli in the first quarter of 2026. Together, those transactions added approximately £252 million in assets under management to the group, bringing its total AUM to more than £7.5 billion.
About Finli Group
Finli Group was established in 2021 under the name Solomon Capital Holdings by former Quilter Financial Planning chief executive Andy Thompson and chief financial officer Darren Sharke, and is backed by private equity firm JC Flowers & Co. The group currently supports more than 20,000 clients across the UK and employs more than 100 financial planners. Finli completed 21 acquisitions and client bank purchases in 2025, adding £1.1 billion in assets over the course of the year.
