Deal summary

The Orchard Practice, a family-owned financial planning firm based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, has acquired Wallis Wealth. The transaction follows the death of Wallis Wealth's founder and director Ben Gascoyne in 2025. The Orchard Practice worked closely with Rebecca Gascoyne and the Wallis Wealth team throughout the transition to ensure continuity of service for clients.

Rebecca Gascoyne said it was “incredibly important” to find a business that shared the same values, integrity and commitment to clients that Wallis Wealth was built upon, adding that The Orchard Practice would continue Ben’s legacy by supporting clients with the same personal approach and expertise.

About The Orchard Practice

The Orchard Practice was established in 1997 and is a family-owned team of financial planners and wealth managers based in Elstree and Borehamwood. The firm is led by Joshua Gerstler, a Chartered Financial Planner, alongside financial planner Ryan Connolly, and serves clients across the local community and across the UK. The firm was recently named among VouchedFor's Top-Rated Advisers in The Times.

About Wallis Wealth

Wallis Wealth is a financial planning business founded by Ben Gascoyne. The firm built its client relationships around personal service and long-term advice.

Following the acquisition, Wallis Wealth is now part of The Orchard Practice. The Orchard Practice has said it will continue the work of the late Ben Gascoyne and remain committed to providing the same level of personal service and advice to Wallis Wealth clients.

What happens next?

The acquisition is complete. The Orchard Practice has confirmed it will continue to serve Wallis Wealth's clients with the same personal approach, and Joshua Gerstler has described the transaction as an opportunity to strengthen the service and long-term support the firm provides.
