About Wallis Wealth

Norfolk & Suffolk Financial Services is a chartered independent financial planning firm based in Lowestoft, Suffolk, providing financial advice and long-term financial planning to individuals, families and businesses. The firm has built its reputation over several decades on personal client relationships and high-quality independent advice. Mike Davies, its managing director, described its founding principle as a consistent focus on delivering high-quality, personal financial advice and building lasting client relationships.

Why is Becketts acquiring Norfolk & Suffolk Financial Services?

The acquisition is part of a structured buy-and-build strategy that Becketts has pursued since receiving private equity backing from Foresight Group in 2021. Becketts' stated acquisition criteria centres on chartered financial planning firms with strong local client relationships, cultural alignment and retiring principals.

What happens next?

The transaction has now completed. All Norfolk & Suffolk staff have transferred to Becketts, and the Lowestoft office will continue to operate as normal. Mike Davies will retire following an agreed transition period during which he will introduce his clients to the Becketts team.
