French wealth management and family office group Groupe Allen has acquired London-based Altyx Financial Planning, marking its entry into the UK financial advice market. The transaction gives Groupe Allen a UK-regulated advice presence focused on clients with cross-border financial planning needs between France and the UK.
Altyx will become Groupe Allen’s operating brand in the UK. Bérangère Salembien, founder and managing director of Altyx, will retain operational leadership of the British entity and continue developing the firm from London.
About Groupe Allen
Founded and chaired by Sandrine Genet, Groupe Allen is a Paris-based private wealth and family office group that advises approximately 2,700 families and entrepreneurs, with approximately €2 billion (£1.7 billion) of assets under management across offices in Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Montélimar, Brussels and Luxembourg. The group operates through its Carat Capital wealth management brand and its Hedon multi-family office brand Following Qualium Investissement’s 2025 majority investment, Groupe Allen has pursued an active programme of consolidation in France alongside a stated ambition to grow internationally.
About Altyx Financial Planning
Founded in 2010 and based on Regent Street in London, Altyx Financial Planning is an independent financial adviser with a focus on wealth and tax planning for clients navigating financial complexity between France and the United Kingdom. The five-person team is led by managing director Bérangère Salembien, who holds dual qualifications as a chartered financial planner in the UK and as a wealth management adviser in France. The firm's services span investment management, retirement planning for expatriates, estate planning, cash flow modelling, international insurance protection and business protection for corporate clients.
Why is Groupe Allen acquiring Altyx?
The deal gives Groupe Allen a regulated UK platform and local leadership in a market that is closely linked to its existing client base. Altyx’s specialism in UK-France financial planning fits Groupe Allen’s stated focus on international wealth issues, open-architecture advice and multi-jurisdictional client needs. It also follows Groupe Allen’s recent French consolidation activity, including the acquisition of three French wealth management firms earlier this year, and supports its stated plan to expand beyond France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
What happens next?
Altyx Financial Planning becomes Groupe Allen's operating brand in the United Kingdom. Bérangère Salembien retains operational leadership of the British business and will continue to develop it under the Altyx name. Groupe Allen has confirmed that further acquisitions in the UK are planned within the next twelve months.
